I could go on and on about how awesome SyncBack Freeware is. With this program, you can set up profiles containing the directories you'd like to regularly back up, and once set up (with a multitude of options), it takes but a click of the mouse to run the profile with or without user intervention (your choice). You're offered a simulated run feature wherein you can test out your settings without actually making any changes. You can run this on any profile at any time. SyncBack works on a network and can sync with ftp servers. You can schedule the profiles to run or run them manually. And I have yet to ever see it make a mistake when backing up my files. Try it - it's truly a work of art.
